Play a key role at the heart of New Zealand's dairy industry. We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Laboratory Technician to join our Hamilton team, carrying out routine and specialised testing that supports our compositional, milk quality and food safety functions.

This permanent, full-time position will work on a sliding day roster of 4 days on 2 days off for 9 hour hours per day.

Key responsibilities:

• Carry out laboratory testing using established methods and procedures.
• Complete all procedures accurately, in line with quality standards.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment.
• Ensure quality control measures are followed and documentation is accurately maintained.
• Support your teammates to help meet turnaround times and client expectations.
• Provide excellent, timely customer service.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Previous laboratory experience (dairy industry experience a plus).
• A diploma or degree in a relevant scientific field is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• A collaborative, safety-conscious attitude and a team player.
• Comfortable with manual tasks and lifting up to approximately 15kg.
