Job Summary

We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support laboratory operations, testing, sample handling, documentation, and quality control activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine laboratory tests and analysis.
• Collect, receive, label, and prepare samples for testing.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment appropriately.
• Record and document test results accurately.
• Assist with quality control and laboratory procedures.
• Maintain proper laboratory records and documentation.
• Ensure laboratory equipment and work areas are clean and properly maintained.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and company standards.
• Report unusual findings, equipment issues, or discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
• Perform other laboratory-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• B.Sc., HND, or OND in Medical Laboratory Science, Laboratory Technology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Relevant laboratory experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Must be responsible, disciplined, and willing to learn.
