Laboratory Technician

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in an academic, science, research, or laboratory setting is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic Biology, Chemistry, and Physics laboratory procedures.
• Familiarity with the proper handling, preparation, storage, and disposal of laboratory materials, chemicals, specimens, and equipment.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and proper waste disposal procedures.
• Willing to assist teachers and students during laboratory activities, experiments, and demonstrations.
• Proficient in conducting inventory, monitoring laboratory supplies, and maintaining laboratory records and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety awareness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Amenable to full-time onsite work.
• Available to start as soon as possible (ASAP).
