Reliance Fluid Technologies is looking for a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team and help ensure the quality, consistency, and performance of our products.

Whether you're an early-career professional looking to build your technical experience or someone with a background in laboratory testing or quality control, we're looking for someone who's curious, dependable, and eager to learn.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Laboratory Technician, you'll play an important role in supporting our daily laboratory operations and working closely with our Quality and Operations teams to ensure our products meet established standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing quality control testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Operating, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory testing equipment.
  • Recording, analyzing, and communicating test results to support production and quality decisions.
  • Maintaining accurate laboratory records, testing documentation, and certificates of analysis.
  • Partnering with production teams to troubleshoot quality concerns and identify solutions.
  • Supporting investigations involving product quality, non-conforming materials, and customer concerns.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, quality audits, and the implementation of new testing methods.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys learning, and understands the importance of doing things right.

Our ideal candidate brings:

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related scientific field (preferred).
  • At least one year of experience in a laboratory, quality control, manufacturing, or related technical environment (preferred).
  • Familiarity with laboratory testing procedures, instrumentation, and quality control practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintaining accurate technical records.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn, contribute, and take initiative.

Even better if you have experience with:

  • ISO 9001 quality management systems.
  • Viscosity, physical property, or analytical testing.
  • Laboratory equipment calibration and verification.
  • Quality documentation, audits, and corrective actions.

Don't check every box? We still encourage you to apply. We value individuals who bring the right attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to develop their skills.

Why Join Reliance Fluid Technologies?

You'll have the opportunity to work in a collaborative, hands-on environment where your contributions matter. This is a role where you can continue building your technical knowledge, work alongside experienced professionals, and contribute to improving the quality of the products we manufacture.

If you're ready to put your skills to work, continue learning, and be part of a team that takes pride in what it does, we'd like to hear from you!
