Omniwell Labs is a contract manufacturer specializing in pet supplements, cosmetic products, and specialty formulations. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Laboratory Technician / Formulation Assistant to support our product development and laboratory activities.

Position Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Laboratory Technician to assist with preparing samples, conducting tests, maintaining laboratory records, and supporting product development activities. This is a laboratory support position and does not require independent product formulation or development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with laboratory activities and product development projects.
• Accurately weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to established instructions.
• Prepare laboratory samples and assist with experimental batches.
• Prepare small test batches using established formulations as experience develops.
• Perform basic laboratory testing and document observations and results.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, sample information, and test results.
• Organize laboratory ingredients, materials, and supplies.
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and proper material handling practices.
• Assist with other laboratory activities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Education or practical experience in chemistry, biology, laboratory science, or a related field.
• Previous hands-on experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment involving laboratory procedures.
• Familiarity with accurately weighing, mixing, sampling, and testing materials.
• Ability to follow formulas, written procedures, and technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow direction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pet supplements, personal care products, or chemical products.
• Experience preparing laboratory samples or small test batches.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and basic testing procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

• $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
