Laboratory Technician - Process Development, Small-Scale Manufacturing

Laboratory Technician - Process Development & Small-Scale Manufacturing vacancy for our Basel based client in the Pharma sector.

Your tasks:

• Execute chemical synthesis experiments safely and efficiently in line with project objectives and timelines.
• Support process development through experimental work, observation, data generation and documentation.
• Collaborate with process chemists to design experiments, evaluate results and define next steps.
• Assist with scale-up activities, process transfers and troubleshooting during pilot-scale and manufacturing campaigns.
• Maintain accurate electronic laboratory records and ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practice.
• Support laboratory safety, equipment upkeep, inventory management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Completed apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician (Laborant/in) or equivalent scientific technical qualification.
• Practical experience in synthetic chemistry with a passion for laboratory work.
• Strong hands-on experience with chemical synthesis and process development activities.
• Experience supporting or participating in the scale-up of chemical reactions and processes .
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety, HSE requirements and compliant working practices.
• Experience with standard synthesis and analytical equipment such as HPLC, GC, NMR, EasyMax and FlexyALR.
• German: Good working proficiency (required)
• English: Strong written and spoken proficiency (required)
