Position Summary

The Quality Control Laboratory Technician will track and receive inventory, procure materials, and maintain the QC laboratory with minimal oversight and will report to the Quality Control Manager at Rion.

Job Responsibilities:

• Track inventory of critical reagents and general use materials in the QC laboratory
• Procure and receive inventory for the QC laboratory according to SOPs and governances
• Collaborate with team members to organize laboratory reagents, materials and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment
• Perform routine laboratory cleaning and organization
• Assist with QC compliance activities to support audit readiness.
• Provide valuable feedback and input to process improvement related to lab maintenance
• Minimal operation of simple procedures within QC Lab (aliquoting, dilutions, simple preparations)

• Strong pipette skills
• Laboratory Organization
• Can work independently to receive laboratory consumables and reagents
• Documentation
• Basic Laboratory Techniques (Weighing, pH, Karl Fischer)
• Attention to detail
• Basic math skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with 0-1 years of relevant laboratory experience, or
• High School Diploma (GED) with 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience
