Position Overview

Norfolk Southern Corporation is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Technician to support assigned packaging and operational activities. The ideal candidate will help prepare, inspect, package, and organize materials while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and products for packaging
• Inspect items for quality and accuracy
• Package, label, and organize completed products
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow established safety and operational procedures
• Monitor supplies and report inventory needs
• Assist with other assigned production or operational duties

Qualifications

• Previous packaging, production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
