We are seeking a motivated and dependable Laborer to join our manufacturing team. Duties

• Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of materials, components, and finished products to ensure efficient movement within the facility
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely for mechanical assembly and equipment maintenance tasks
• Use measuring instruments and interpret technical drawings to support assembly line operations and quality checks
• Manage inventory by utilizing forklift equipment, ensuring proper placement and retrieval of materials in designated areas
• Follow safety protocols rigorously to maintain a secure work environment, including adherence to safety standards in production and lean manufacturing principles
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting practical solutions for workflow enhancement
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets, manage assembly line tasks, and uphold manufacturing management standards

Qualifications

• Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with production environments and safety practices
• Proficiency in operating forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments is essential
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documents accurately
• Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in mechanical assembly or technical proficiency is advantageous
• Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability for heavy lifting and manual tasks throughout shifts
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including safety protocol adherence and lean manufacturing practices
• Excellent teamwork skills with experience managing or supporting production or assembly teams is a plus

Pay: $24.82 - $29.89 per hour
