LABORER

Job Summary

We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented Laborers to join our team at Samson Trucking.

In this role, you will support our mechanic department by performing manual tasks, operating equipment, and ensuring safety standards are strictly maintained throughout the yard. Your dedication will play a key part in driving efficiency and quality across our operations.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and vehicles

• Help conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on all equipment and vehicles

• Help repair or replace faulty parts and components

• Perform tire services

• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.

• Operate power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments to support mechanic processes

• Use forklifts and other equipment to move materials safely and efficiently

• Conduct manual handling of heavy materials while adhering to safety protocols

• Maintain a clean, organized work environment in accordance with safety standards in production

• Wash and polish trucks and company vehicles

Requirements

• Previous experience as a mechanic helper or laborer in a similar role preferred

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
