General Laborer / Crew Help — Montrose, CO

Pay: $18–$22 per hour to start

Schedule: Full-time, seasonal (early spring through late fall)

Location: Montrose, CO, with travel across western Colorado

Start date: Spring 2027 season (about March 2027)

Hiring now for next season. We're building our 2027 crew over the winter. Apply now, we'll interview in the off-season, and you'll be lined up to start when striping season opens.

Stripe A Lot is a family-run pavement marking company in Montrose. We stripe highways, county roads, city roads, and everything in between across western Colorado, and we're looking to add a hard worker to the crew.

No experience needed. If you show up on time, work hard, and want to learn a trade, we'll teach you everything else.

What the job is

This is outdoor, hands-on work. You'll be:

• Setting up and picking up cones and traffic control
• Helping the crew lay out and paint crosswalks and long-line striping
• Loading, unloading, and moving paint, beads, and materials
• Keeping equipment and the work area clean and squared away
• Pitching in wherever the crew needs an extra set of hands

We start early, we travel for jobs, and the work is physical. You'll be on your feet in the sun. If that's the kind of work you're after, we want to hear from you.

What we're looking for

• Shows up on time, every day. That's the big one.
• Willing to work hard outdoors in the heat
• Able to lift and stay on your feet all day
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Valid driver's license is a plus
• CDL Class A or B is a major plus

Season and hours

This is a full-time seasonal position, typically running from early spring through late fall, with consistent full-time hours all season. Employees who move up in seniority may stay on payroll through the winter, depending on workload. We reward loyalty and performance with more year-round stability.
