Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- WILL TRAIN

• General cleaning and maintenance around a shop/yard
• Light operation of equipment
• Running between shop and field for Parts and Supplies, utilizing shop truck, box vans, stake trucks etc.
• Assist Operator with HX truck work and maintaining truck
• Effective communication with on-site foremen regarding progress and safety
• Adhere to and enforce all safety standards
• Maintain organized and clean job site throughout the project.
• Participate in and promote the safety culture
• Maintain all necessary job-related certifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Prior to starting must have Chauffer's license and current DOT Medical Card (or be willing to obtain both before starting)
• Dependable transportation to and from shop each day
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as an individual environment
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrated ability to work with hands on tools and to work in construction related situations
• Follow instructions given both orally or in writing
• Ability to work independently, with accuracy and in accordance with company safety and quality standards
• Ability to communicate in English with other employees for the purpose of hazard recognition, problem solving, or other purposes
