Laborer Packer

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packer to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for packaging products, assembling kits, operating basic packaging equipment, and ensuring products are prepared accurately and efficiently for shipment. The ideal candidate can follow both verbal and written instructions, maintain accurate records, and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Package finished products according to company procedures and customer specifications.
• Assemble product kits and prepare orders for shipment.
• Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and follow work orders, batch records, labels, and packaging instructions.
• Complete production and packaging documentation accurately and legibly in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Inspect products and packaging materials to ensure quality standards are met.
• Apply labels and verify product information for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with GMP and safety requirements.
• Assist with inventory organization, material staging, and stock counts as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies, GMP requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Communicate any quality, safety, or production concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations.

Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying quantities accurately
• Familiarity with GMP, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and safety standards in production environments is a plus
• Strong understanding of manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control processes
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safety protocol adherence at all times

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
