Laborer Welding Assistant

The ideal candidate will assist experienced welders in various tasks related to welding and fabrication, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly on location at food and beverage facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist welders in preparing materials for welding, including cutting and fitting components.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Support the welding process by holding materials in place and ensuring proper alignment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Help with rigging tasks when necessary to position heavy materials for welding.
• Follow instructions from lead welders and contribute to team efforts on location.

Experience

• Previous experience in a welding or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and safety practices related to welding operations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 65.0 per week
