Laborer/Carpenter

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Laborer/Carpenter to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing, siding and windows, electrical, to restoration and remodeling. As a key member of our crew, you will contribute to high-quality craftsmanship while gaining valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of construction. Duties

• Assist with demo and removal of existing siding, windows, doors, and deck structures
• Assist with framing, including metal stud framing and wood framing
• Assist with installation of finish materials such as fiber cement siding and composite decking
• Assist with paint prep and final painting of residential structures
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like cutting, sanding, drilling, and fastening materials
• Support concrete forming, masonry work, and rebar installation for foundational and structural elements
• Engage in siding, trim, roofing, and water damage restoration projects to improve building durability
• Conduct demolition, remodeling, flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall finishing as needed
• Assist with fabrication tasks including metalworking or woodworking components for custom fixtures or repairs
• Support plumbing, electrical work, or HVAC installations under supervision while adhering to safety standards
• Participate in heavy lifting and material handling to ensure efficient workflow on construction sites
• Operate safety on ladders, scaffolding, roofs, crawlspaces, and general construction sites.

Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, chisels, screwdrivers) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders)
• Experience in various carpentry disciplines such as rough carpentry, framing, siding
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique
• Knowledge of schematics for electrical or plumbing systems is a plus
• Experience with restoration industry practices including mold remediation and water damage repair is advantageous
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of construction work

LOCATION: Based out of Grass Valley, supporting our clients construction needs in Placer, Nevada, and Yuba counties. Employees self report to various construction sites. Mileage credit available outside of standard management area.
