Responsibilities

• Assist with the interpretation of construction plans and technical drawings to support project execution
• Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials and equipment safely and efficiently
• Support erosion control measures to protect the environment and maintain site integrity
• Operate power tools and basic equipment for tasks such as cutting, drilling, or assembling materials under supervision
• Conduct routine equipment repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance on-site
• Follow all workplace safety protocols, including implementation of OSHA safety standards and use of respiratory protection when necessary
• Climb ladders, scaffolding, or other structures safely to access work areas or perform inspections
• Support heavy lifting activities with proper techniques and team coordination to prevent injuries
• Assist with the installation of construction plans, including setting up forms or supports as directed
• Maintain a clean and organized work site by removing debris and ensuring safe pathways at all times

Qualifications

• Prior experience in industrial or construction environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
• Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards is highly desirable
• Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair is a plus
• Familiarity with erosion control practices and environmental protection measures is beneficial
• Comfort with manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and climbing structures safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment at all times
