Labourer

PEM Engineering & Construction (PEMEC) are a petrochemical engineering company with knowledge and experience of Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Projects, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Labour Sourcing, Petrochemical, Oil, Gas and Construction Industries. Our head office is based on Sutton Fields, Hull , where we also have a Pipefitting/Welding workshop to supply our clients with bespoke project welding/pipe work.

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Labourers to work on-site for one of our clients in Witham, Hull.

The role will involve working on a Waste-to-Energy site, carrying out general site duties including cleaning vessels and other manual tasks. Candidates must be comfortable working in industrial environments and have the appropriate training for confined spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general labouring duties as directed by supervisors.
• Assist with cleaning vessels and other site-based tasks.
• Work safely within an industrial Waste-to-Energy facility.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures and instructions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Work effectively as part of a team and support other site personnel when required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working on a Waste-to-Energy site.
• Confined Spaces Entry training is essential.
• Previous experience with vessel cleaning or similar industrial cleaning work is highly desirable.
• Must be local to Hull and able to reliably travel to the site in Witham, Hull.
• Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual work.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• A valid SAFETY card is required where applicable.

Pay: £19.02-£34.24 per hour
