Labourer – Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of physical tasks as directed by the supervisor
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Clean and prepare job sites, including removing debris and possibly hazardous materials
• Follow all safety procedures as per the guidelines of WorkSafeBC
• Complete assigned all given tasks in a timely and efficient

Requirements:

• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and performing strenuous tasks
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality work
• Previous experience in construction or a related field is an asset, but not required
