Labourer

Location: Cromwell, Otago
Hours: Monday to Friday, day shifts

We’re looking for reliable Labourers to join a busy environmental recycling operation, helping give used tyres and other materials a second life.

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting with the recycling and processing of used tyres
• Sorting and handling tyres and other recyclable materials
• Loading and unloading materials
• Moving and stacking tyres and products safely
• Assisting with the processing and preparation of recyclable materials
• General labouring and site maintenance
• Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised
• Operating basic tools and equipment
• Following health, safety and environmental procedures
• Working as part of a team to keep operations running smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Previous labouring, recycling, warehouse or outdoor work experience is an advantage
• No previous recycling experience required – full training can be provided
• Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual work
• Happy working around used tyres and recycled materials
• Reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck in
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Able to follow instructions and work safely
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Forklift experience/license would be an advantage
