Labourer

Strong work ethic? Good attitude? Not afraid of a bit of heavy lifting? We want you!

At PlastaMasta Wagga, we're looking for a reliable, hardworking Labourer to join our team.

We're not looking for a fancy résumé or a long list of qualifications. We're looking for someone who turns up, gets stuck in, works well with others and takes pride in doing a good job.

If you enjoy being active, like working with a good crew and don't mind rolling up your sleeves, this could be the job for you.

THE JOB

You'll be part of the team keeping our warehouse and deliveries running smoothly.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Loading and unloading plasterboard and building materials.
• Assisting with deliveries to construction sites.
• Handling and moving plasterboard safely, including repetitive and heavy lifting.
• Helping keep the warehouse organised, tidy and safe.
• Pitching in wherever the team needs a hand.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Attitude matters more than experience.

We want someone who:

• Can handle the physical work – plasterboard is heavy, and you'll need to be comfortable with regular manual handling and lifting.
• Has a great attitude – positive, willing to learn and happy to get involved.
• Is a team player – works well with others and helps out without being asked twice.
• Is reliable – turns up on time, ready to work, every day.
• Takes safety seriously – looks after themselves and their teammates.
• Gets things done – takes initiative and doesn't stand around waiting to be told what to do.

Previous warehouse, labouring or construction experience would be handy, but it's not essential. If you've got the right attitude and a willingness to work, we can teach you the rest.

• On-the-job training and the opportunity to develop new skills.
• Being part of a wider group that values its people and recognises a job well done.
