Duties

• Assist with site preparation by clearing debris, loading and unloading materials, and setting up equipment
• Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as mixing materials, measuring, and assembling structures
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance
• Transport materials around the site using manual handling techniques or basic machinery when qualified
• Help with site inspections and report any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly
• Contribute to the overall progress of projects by completing assigned tasks efficiently and accurately

Skills

• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks throughout the workday
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
• Good communication skills to coordinate with colleagues and supervisors
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites
• Reliable punctuality and a proactive attitude towards work responsibilities
• Experience in construction or manual labor is advantageous but not essential—training will be provided if needed
• Valid certifications such as CSCS card or equivalent are a plus but not mandatory
