Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and responsible Labourer with a valid Fire Marshal certificate to join our dynamic team. Long time position! Minimum 1 year

Working Monday-Friday(10 hours/day)

Sometimes you will be required on Saturdays and Sundays!

We are looking for a reliable, punctual and hard working person!

You must be able to pass a drog and alcohol test!!

Duties

• Assist with various construction tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup to keep the worksite organized and safe.
• Conduct regular fire safety inspections and ensure fire prevention measures are in place, leveraging your Fire Marshal certification.
• Monitor the site for potential hazards, promptly addressing safety concerns and reporting issues to supervisors.
• Support system design activities by providing input on site layouts and safety systems during project planning phases.
• Implement emergency procedures effectively, coordinating with team members during fire drills or incidents.
• Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, incident reports, and daily activities to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold construction best practices, ensuring all work aligns with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of site operations and safety protocols.
• Valid Fire Marshal certification demonstrating expertise in fire prevention and emergency response planning.
• Knowledge of system design principles related to construction or safety systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and supervisors.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe work environment through proactive safety measures.
