What they need
- Perform routine laboratory testing on milling, batching, packing samples, raw materials and finished products according to established SOPs and testing parameters in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct inspection and quality checks on incoming raw materials, pre-stage pallets, production processes and bulk loading activities to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Record, maintain and file laboratory test results, inspection records, checklists, reports, graphs and other quality-related documentation accurately.
- Identify and report any quality defects, abnormalities or non-conformance issues to the superior promptly for further action.
- Assist in the issuance and follow-up of NCR / SCAR, including product hold, investigation, corrective action and coordination with relevant departments such as Production, Silo, Warehouse and Quality.
- Perform additional laboratory testing and analysis as assigned, including competitor flour analysis, flour streaming studies, customer complaints, R&D activities and other evaluation work.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality management systems, including HACCP, FSSC 22000, HALAL, GMP and Good Laboratory Practice.
- Assist in audit preparation and activities for internal audits, customer audits, certification audits and other applicable audits.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and assist in identifying recurring quality issues and areas for improvement.
- Ensure laboratory equipment and facilities are maintained in good condition and report any equipment defects or breakdowns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the laboratory and work area, and participate in 5S activities.
- Comply with all company policies, safety procedures, hygiene requirements and workplace regulations at all times.
- Perform any other duties and assignments as directed by Management from time to time.
