Labvantage LIMS Application Support

Role & responsibilities

Required Experience & Skills

• Hands-on experience providing L2/L3 application support for LabVantage LIMS in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with the LabVantage LIMS platform, including its browser-based Java EE architecture and configuration-driven model workflows, business rules, master data, and Web Page Designer — with the ability to diagnose and resolve application-layer issues independently.
• Strong experience in LabVantage support with Oracle and/or SQL Server database troubleshooting and SQL query analysis
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting API and system integration issues between LIMS and adjacent platforms (e.g., ERP, MES, instrument interfaces).
• Familiarity with SaaS application support models and vendor management, including escalation processes for patch and hotfix delivery.
• Experience supporting or participating in SIT/UAT testing for application changes in a regulated GxP environment.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality technical documentation — runbooks, SOPs, incident reports, and knowledge base articles.
• Experience working in a follow-the-sun or globally distributed support model, with strong skills in handoff coordination and knowledge transfer.
• Client-facing communication skills with the ability to convey technical issues clearly to non-technical business stakeholders.

Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management) for incident, change, and problem management.
