Lactation Consultant

Bridges Lactation provides evidence-based and accessible lactation and infant feeding support to families in the DC Metro area and is actively hiring an additional IBCLC contractor to provide care to more families in home and virtually.

You’ll get competitive compensation (percentage based structure) and a flexible schedule. Regular commitment is expected but there is flexibility with when and how many hours you are available each week.

Provider Qualifications:

• Active IBCLC certification.
• Active liability insurance.
• Clean background check
• Additional continuing education in oral ties, bottle refusal (Susan Howard or Rachel O’Brien), and flange F.I.T.S.
• Reliable transportation
• RN or other medical license
• Located in DC Metro area.
• Own scale accurate for weighted feeds.

Optional but preferred:

• Spanish language proficiency.
