Lactation Consultant IBCLC

What We Offer:

• Position: Lactation Consultant
• Schedule: Full-time (36 hours/week), night shift. Schedule will be 7:00P-7:30A, self schedule on a 6 week time tract. 3 Fridays required per 6 week time tract, and 4 weekend shifts required (can be any Saturday & Sunday combo). Holiday rotation required, no call requirements.
• Department: Lactation
• Location: Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC.
• Requirements: Current IBCLC certification, required.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: High School Diploma, required. 4 Year/ Bachelor's Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in mother/baby care or breast feeding education, required.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current IBCLC certification, required. Current RN licensure in appropriate state, preferred.
• Additional Skills: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Excellent customer service skills.
