Land Acquisition Officer

About the role

As a Land Acquisition Officer, you will be responsible for securing land and Right-of-Way (ROW) requirements for the company's solar PV projects. You will coordinate with landowners, government agencies, survey teams, legal, and other internal departments to ensure timely and proper acquisition of project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and verify properties, landowners, and ownership documents for project sites.
• Coordinate and negotiate with landowners, heirs, claimants, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate land acquisition, lease, easement, and ROW agreements.
• Coordinate with survey teams for property boundaries, lot verification, and ROW requirements.
• Prepare and organize land acquisition documents and records.
• Coordinate with Legal and Finance teams on contracts, valuation, and landowner payments.
• Liaise with DAR, DENR, LGUs, Registry of Deeds, and other government offices for land-related requirements.
• Address landowner concerns and assist in resolving land-related issues.
• Monitor land acquisition activities and provide regular updates to management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Legal Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2–5 years of experience in land acquisition, property management, real estate, or ROW activities.
• Experience in negotiating with landowners and handling land-related documents is an advantage.
• Knowledge of land titles, tax declarations, cadastral maps, and basic property due diligence.
• Familiarity with DAR, DENR, LGU, and Registry of Deeds processes is preferred.
• Good communication, negotiation, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Willing to travel to project sites and conduct fieldwork.
