What they need
Land Development Project Manager | Wanaka
Are you currently working in Wanaka or Central Otago and looking for the opportunity to take the next step in your career?
We are working with a well-established local company that is continuing to grow alongside the huge amount of development happening throughout the region. With a strong pipeline of land development and infrastructure projects coming through, they are now looking to bring on an experienced Project Manager to become a key part of their future growth.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than just another job. The successful person will have the chance to take ownership of their role, grow with the business and eventually build a team around them.
About the Role
You will be responsible for managing a range of land development projects throughout Wanaka and the wider Central Otago region.
Working closely with clients, contractors, consultants and local authorities, you will take projects from initial concept through to delivery, ensuring they are managed effectively and delivered to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing land development and sub division projects
- Coordinating consultants, contractors and stakeholders
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Managing project programmes, budgets and delivery
- Identifying opportunities for new work and business growth
- Playing a key role in the future growth of the Wanaka team
What We're Looking For
We are open to speaking with people from either a Civil Engineering or Project Management background.
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- At least 5 years' experience within Civil Engineering or Project Management
- Experience working on land development or sub division projects
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage projects independently
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- An interest in progressing into a leadership position
This role would suit someone who is currently operating at an Intermediate or Senior level and is ready to take on more responsibility.
What's on Offer?
The company is offering a genuine long-term career opportunity rather than simply filling a position.
You will receive:
- A competitive salary package based on experience
- The opportunity to take ownership of your role and projects
- A significant pipeline of work throughout Wanaka and Central Otago
- A clear progression pathway into leadership
- The opportunity to eventually build and lead your own team
- A supportive and collaborative local working environment
- Continued professional development and career growth
With development continuing throughout the region, there is no shortage of exciting projects coming through. This is a great opportunity to establish yourself with a local company and play a key role in its growth over the coming years.
If you are already based in Wanaka or Central Otago and are looking for the next step in your career, we would be keen to have a confidential conversation.
If you'd like to chat about the role or want more details, please feel free to reach out to me direct on: 0212415949 or email your CV direct to [email protected]
