Job Title: Field Landman (Contract)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Landman to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of land management practices and be capable of managing complex projects with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct title research and prepare comprehensive title reports.

• Negotiate oil and gas leases, surface use agreements, and right-of-way easements.

• Manage curative tasks to address title defects and ensure clear ownership.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all land-related activities.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate project timelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Land Management, Energy Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in land management within the oil and gas industry.

• Active membership with the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL).

• Proficiency in lease negotiation, title examination, and land document preparation.

• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment while maintaining high professional standards.
