Landmen

We're seeking experienced, professional Landmen to support ongoing oil and gas projects in both Texas and the Rocky Mountain region.

Responsibilities:

• Research county records to establish mineral, surface, and leasehold ownership.
• Prepare ownership reports, runsheets, lease checks, and supporting documentation.
• Negotiate and secure oil and gas leases, surface use agreements, rights-of-way, and related agreements within approved terms.
• Identify title issues and coordinate curative work with owners, attorneys, and internal teams.
• Review leases and agreements for key terms, obligations, and expiration dates.
• Maintain accurate land records and provide clear updates on project status, outstanding issues, and deadlines.
• Travel to courthouses, project areas, and owner meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience as a Landman in Texas, the Rockies, or both.
• Working knowledge of mineral ownership, oil and gas leases, title research, and land agreements.
• Ability to interpret deeds, assignments, probate records, legal descriptions, and related instruments.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with online county records, land management systems, and Microsoft Office.
