Landscape Carpenter

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Carpenter or carpenter wanting a change of scenery to join our team at Rightmove Recruitment. We have full-time ongoing work available throughout the Waikato.

This full-time role will involve installing and maintaining high-quality hard landscaping projects for our residential and commercial clients.
Hours of work will be 07:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Starting pay rate will be $28.00 to $35.00 per hour (depending on experience) 

What you'll be doing

• Helping with the installation of landscaping features such as gardens, lawns, water features, and pathways
• Performing ongoing maintenance and upkeep of existing landscaped areas
• Selecting and sourcing appropriate plants, materials, and equipment for each project
• Collaborating with clients to understand their vision and ensure their satisfaction
• Managing a team of landscaping assistants and contractors
• Ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a professional Landscaper/Carpenter
• Experience with all carpentry tools, and your own set where possible.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and technical drawings
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Happy to be away overnights when needed (allowances provided)
• LBP beneficial, but not essential.
• Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
