Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Landscape Construction Foreman to lead our crews through various landscaping projects. This role involves supervising on-site operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and coordinating tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, construction experience, and a passion for horticulture and landscape maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise landscape construction crews to complete projects on time and within scope
• Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to maintain productivity
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and company policies
• Oversee installation of irrigation systems, gardening features, and other landscape elements
• Conduct quality inspections to guarantee immaculate results in softscape and hardscape work
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
• Assist with troubleshooting on-site issues related to horticulture, irrigation, or construction

Qualifications

• Proven supervising experience in landscape construction or related fields
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening practices, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance
• Construction experience with a focus on hardscape or softscape installation
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read technical drawings, or project plans is a plus

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour

• Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
