Landscape Construction Supervisor

Lake Shore Services, Inc. is hiring a Landscape Construction Supervisor

Work for a family-owned landscape construction company that has been serving Minnesota’s lakes area for over 40 years. We serve Otter Tail and Becker Counties and specialize in protecting lake properties and transforming outdoor spaces.

The Landscape Supervisor is a hands-on leadership position, responsible for leading a crew while working alongside them to complete high-quality landscape construction projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and work alongside a landscape construction crew
• Organize daily work and keep projects productive and on schedule
• Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Communicate with customers, employees, and company owners
• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are ready for each project
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
• Operate construction equipment and machinery as needed

Projects may include:

• Shoreline stabilization and rip rap
• Retaining walls and paver patios, walkways, and driveways
• Rock and mulch beds and edging
• Boulder and wood steps and walkways
• Synthetic turf and plantings
• Tree, stump, and shrub removal
• Foundation water barriers and drain tile

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Previous landscaping, landscape construction, or similar experience
• Previous supervisory or crew-lead experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Equipment operation experience
• Carpentry experience preferred
• Mechanical knowledge/aptitude preferred
• Landscape design experience preferred
• Dependability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic

Pay: $26–$38/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

This is primarily a seasonal position, typically Monday–Friday, with variable hours and overtime as workload requires. Work is performed outdoors in varying conditions, including summer heat and shoreline environments.
