Epic Landscape Productions is hiring a Landscape Craftsman – Features to build custom patios, stone walls, retaining walls, water features, and outdoor living spaces across the Kansas City area.

This isn't your average construction job. Our Features team works on high-end homes and commercial properties, building outdoor spaces that require skill, creativity, and attention to detail. No two projects are exactly alike.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, knows the value of doing a job right, and takes pride in the finished product. Experience in landscaping, masonry, concrete, or other skilled trades is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct and install patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other custom hardscape features.
• Assist with installing ponds, waterfalls, fountains, and decorative water features.
• Build outdoor living elements, including fire pits, seating walls, and decorative stonework.
• Perform site preparation, grading, leveling, and base installation.
• Install natural stone, concrete pavers, retaining wall blocks, and other construction materials.
• Assist with landscape lighting, drainage systems, and specialty feature installations.
• Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and landscape construction equipment.
• Follow project layouts, measurements, and installation specifications.
• Work alongside crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites.

Qualifications

• Dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
• Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Basic knowledge of grading, leveling, measurements, and construction techniques preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop specialized landscape construction skills.

Requirements

• Previous landscape construction, hardscaping, masonry, or related trade experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and landscape construction equipment.
• Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

Expected hours: 40.0 – 42.0 per week
