Landscape Crew Lead

Our Landscape Teams perform the following tasks:

• Build retaining walls, patios & fire pits
• Build brick/stone stairways & walkways
• Install trees, plants, shrubs & mulch
• Complete final lawn preparation
• Lay sod or hydroseed
• Snow Removal

Qualifications for Landscape Crew Lead:

• Must be able to maintain a professional appearance
• Must be able to read and understand landscape prints, directions, maps and descriptions
• Must be able to operate landscape machinery/equipment necessary to complete job (i.e. Dingo, ASV, etc.)
• Must have the ability to repeatedly lift 50lbs
• Must be able to snowplow during winter season
• Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial/residential landscape industry.
• Have valid Medical DOT Card or ability to obtain one.
• Preferred CDL-A or ability to obtain one.
• Preferred Pesticide License certification in Core 3A, 3B and 6.

Responsibilities for Landscape Crew Lead:

• Communicate with Landscape Operations Manager and Designer
• Communicate with customer to answer questions and give accurate descriptions of work to be completed
• Responsible for delegating tasks to landscape crew members to keep them working efficiently
• Responsible for maintaining truck and equipment, completing weekly safety inspections and filling out daily worksheet

Our Landscape Positions transition into snow removal tasks for the winter season. Winter snow removal pay rate is $24-$30 per hour based on experience.
