About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Landscape Crew Leader / Driver to join our team in San Antonio, TX.

This position is responsible for leading a landscaping crew, driving a company truck and trailer, managing daily job-site operations, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, experienced, takes pride in their work, and can lead a crew without needing constant supervision**.**

This is a hands-on leadership position. You will spend time both operating the truck/trailer and working alongside your crew in the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a landscaping crew on daily job sites
• Drive a company truck and trailer safely
• Transport crew members, tools, materials, and equipment
• Plan and organize the day's work to keep the crew productive
• Complete landscaping projects efficiently and on schedule
• Perform hands-on landscaping work alongside the crew
• Install and maintain landscapes
• Perform lawn and landscape maintenance
• Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscape materials
• Install and repair irrigation systems
• Perform mulching, trimming, cleanups, and general landscape work
• Inspect completed work and ensure it meets company quality standards
• Communicate professionally with customers when needed
• Identify and resolve job-site problems
• Properly use and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
• Keep the truck, trailer, equipment, and job sites clean and organized
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Train and hold crew members accountable for quality and productivity

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional landscaping experience
• Previous Crew Leader, Foreman, or Lead Landscaper experience preferred
• Valid Texas Driver's License
• Clean driving record
• Must be at least 25 years old due to company vehicle insurance requirements
• Experience driving trucks with trailers
• Ability to safely load, transport, and operate landscaping equipment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field
• Reliable and punctual
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors in Texas weather
• Ability to perform physical landscaping work throughout the workday

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Irrigation experience
• Experience operating landscaping equipment
• Experience supervising a landscaping crew
• Experience reading landscape plans or job specifications
