Verdant Property Co. is hiring a dependable Landscape Crew Member to join our growing lawn and landscaping operation in North DFW.

This is a hands-on, outdoor position. You will work as part of a small crew completing recurring mowing routes and landscape projects, and a Crew Leader will train you on our procedures, safety and quality standards.

We want people who take pride in their work, show up on time and want to learn. Experience helps, but a strong work ethic and reliability matter most.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a small lawn and landscaping crew
• Complete recurring mowing routes efficiently and professionally
• Perform mowing, edging, string trimming and blower cleanup
• Assist with mulch, sod, planting, leaf cleanup and other landscape installations
• Follow the job scope and directions from the Crew Leader
• Help check completed work before leaving each property
• Load, unload and secure equipment on the trailer
• Keep trucks, trailers, tools and equipment clean and organized
• Report equipment problems, property damage or safety concerns to the Crew Leader right away
• Stay professional and courteous around customers and their property

Required Qualifications

• Dependable transportation to the designated starting location
• Consistent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work outdoors in North Texas weather
• Ability to lift and carry 50–80 pounds when necessary
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Ability to safely operate lawn equipment after training
• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous lawn care or landscaping experience
• Experience with commercial mowers, trimmers, edgers and blowers
• Experience with mulch, sod or planting
• Valid driver's license
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills

Pay and Advancement

• Starting pay: $17–$20 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated ability
• Paid working interview
• Performance and reliability bonus opportunities
• Pay increases based on performance, reliability and skill development
• A clear path to Crew Leader as the company grows

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Primarily weekday work
• Occasional weekend availability may be needed
• Hours may vary based on weather, workload and seasonal demand
