Landscape Crew Member

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Crew Member to join our team. This role involves hands-on outdoor work focused on maintaining and enhancing various landscapes. The ideal candidate will have experience working outdoors and be comfortable operating landscaping equipment. You will contribute to grounds maintenance, landscaping projects, snow management, and hardscape and excavation tasks. A strong commitment to safety protocols and a passion for horticulture are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to ensure attractive and healthy landscapes
• Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other machinery safely and efficiently
• Assist with planting, pruning, watering, and other horticultural activities to promote plant health and landscape aesthetics
• Support snow management efforts during winter months, including snow plowing, shoveling, and de-icing as needed
• Contribute to hardscape projects such as installing or repairing pathways, patios, or retaining walls
• Assist with excavation work for landscape improvements or construction projects
• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members
• Collaborate with team members to complete landscape projects efficiently and effectively

Qualifications

• Prior outdoor work experience preferred; familiarity with grounds maintenance is a plus
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and responsibly
• Knowledge of horticulture principles is desirable
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to safety procedures and protocols
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping, snow management, hardscape, and excavation tasks

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
