Reagan Landscapes is looking for a dependable Landscape Delivery Driver to support our crews by delivering materials, tools, and equipment to job sites throughout the Charlotte area.

This is primarily a driving and delivery position. However, when deliveries are slow, this position will be expected to help wherever needed, including assisting landscape crews as a laborer, cleaning and organizing the shop or office, maintaining trucks and trailers, and completing other general tasks.

We are looking for someone who likes staying busy and is willing to jump in and help the team rather than only performing driving duties.

A valid driver's license and experience driving trucks and pulling trailers are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver landscape and construction materials to job sites
• Pick up materials from nurseries, landscape suppliers, stone yards, and other vendors
• Transport skid steers, mini excavators, attachments, and other equipment
• Move machines and equipment between job sites
• Drive company trucks and pull equipment and material trailers
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload equipment
• Properly secure materials and equipment before transport
• Coordinate deliveries with Project Managers and Foremen
• Pick up and return rental equipment when needed
• Help load and unload materials
• Perform daily checks of trucks and trailers
• Keep company trucks, trailers, and delivery equipment clean and organized
• Keep receipts and delivery paperwork organized
• Communicate delays, vehicle issues, equipment issues, or delivery problems
• Assist landscape crews with general labor when deliveries are slow
• Clean and organize the shop, office, yard, trucks, or equipment as needed
• Assist with other company tasks as needed during downtime

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required
• Good driving record required
• Experience driving work trucks and pulling trailers required
• Comfortable transporting construction or landscape equipment
• Knowledge of properly securing equipment and loads
• Confident backing and maneuvering trailers
• Comfortable driving onto active construction sites
• Able to safely load and unload materials and equipment
• Willing and physically able to perform landscape labor when needed
• Willing to clean, organize, and help with general shop or office tasks
• Able to work independently and adjust priorities throughout the day
• Dependable and able to report to work on time consistently
• Landscape or construction experience is helpful but not required
• Equipment operating experience is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful but not required

What We're Looking For

We need someone our crews can depend on to keep materials and equipment moving and help wherever needed. Some days may be busy with deliveries all day, while other days may have downtime between deliveries.

When there aren't deliveries to make, you will be expected to find ways to help the team, whether that means joining a crew for general labor, organizing the shop, cleaning trucks or equipment, helping around the office, or completing other assigned tasks.

Schedule & Location

Full time, Monday through Friday.

Employees report to our Denver, NC shop and make deliveries to suppliers and job sites throughout Charlotte and surrounding areas.

Sign-On Bonus: $500 sign-on bonus available for a qualified candidate. Eligibility and payment terms will be discussed during the hiring process.
