Landscape Estimator

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Landscape Estimator to join our team and drive the success of our commercial landscape projects. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing detailed proposals, and collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams. Your expertise will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale landscape developments while utilizing your industry experience and estimation skills.

Duties

• Review landscaping drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to interpret project scope and material requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for landscape projects by analyzing material costs, labor, equipment, and subcontractor quotes using estimating software such as Jobber or similar tools.
• Negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
• Manage project budgets by tracking costs throughout the bidding process and construction phases to ensure cost control and profitability.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop comprehensive project estimates that align with project goals and client expectations.
• Review landscaping contracts, scope of work, and technical drawings regularly to ensure all estimates reflect current project requirements.
• Assist in managing multiple projects simultaneously by coordinating estimating efforts across various teams while adhering to deadlines.

Experience

• Proven experience in managing construction estimates specifically within the commercial landscaping industry.
• Strong proficiency in Jobber estimating software, familiarity with landscaping management software is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and estimating material requirements from blueprints.
• Demonstrated ability to perform cost management, material cost estimating, and pricing strategies effectively.
• Experience in negotiating contracts with vendors and subcontractors to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
• Solid understanding of landscaping site operations, safety protocols, and project management principles related to landscaping projects.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions, managing bids, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on complex projects.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
