Landscape Foreman

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Foreman to lead our landscaping team in delivering high-quality outdoor maintenance and construction services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of landscape maintenance, horticulture, and lawn care, and a passion for creating beautiful, sustainable outdoor spaces. This full-time position offers an opportunity to oversee diverse projects, supervise crew members, and ensure the successful completion of landscaping tasks. Applicants should have a solid background in landscaping and related fields, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance and construction activities, including lawn care, concrete and hardscaping, gardening, and general horticulture tasks.
• Lead a team of crew members to ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
• Oversee the operation of landscaping equipment and tools, ensuring proper maintenance and safe usage.
• Plan and assign daily job duties based on project requirements and team capabilities.
• Monitor project progress and troubleshoot issues that arise during work to maintain schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on all job sites.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand project specifications and provide updates on progress.
• Assist in training new team members on landscape maintenance techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and crew hours for project documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or related fields.
• Supervising or leadership experience within a landscaping or construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture practices, hardscape installation techniques, and general landscape construction.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members.
• Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions, including lifting heavy materials and operating machinery.
• Valid driver’s license required; ability to drive company vehicles is a plus. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
