Landscape Foreman

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and physically capable Landscape Foreman to lead our special projects crew team. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of landscape projects or additional maintenance that may be needed on our commercial properties, ensuring high-quality work, supervising crew members and physically working along side your crew to complete jobs. Foreman is expected to run the jobs and physically take part in the work. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of landscaping practices, and a passion for horticulture and outdoor beautification. This position offers an opportunity to manage and run a crew as well as show off your own physical workmaship on each project.

Duties

• Supervise, coordinate and actively work with the landscape maintenance crews to ensure timely and quality completion of projects
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and tools used in landscaping operations
• Implement safety protocols and ensure team adherence to safety standards on all job sites
• Provide training and mentorship to crew members to improve skills and productivity
• Plan daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines
• Apply all Herbicides on all properties maintained by your crew

Experience

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a strong understanding and physical ability of doing work in this field
• Supervising or leadership experience managing teams in outdoor or construction environments
• Familiarity with equipment maintenance and safety procedures for landscaping tools and machinery
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively
• Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Prior experience in supervising teams within the landscaping or outdoor maintenance industry is highly desirable
• Pesticide applicating license is a plus.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
