Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Foreman to lead and supervise daily site operations on landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, hands-on construction knowledge, and a passion for safety and quality workmanship. This role is essential to keeping projects running smoothly and maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise landscape crews on daily job site operations
• Assign and coordinate work tasks to ensure efficient project completion
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications
• Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
• Inspect work quality and address deficiencies in real-time
• Operate and maintain landscape construction equipment
• Communicate with crew members regarding project requirements and expectations
• Report daily progress to the Superintendent and Project Manager
• Monitor material usage and minimize waste
• Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and equipment operation
• Maintain accurate daily logs and time sheets
• Perform landscape construction work alongside crew as needed
• Ensure proper equipment and tool maintenance

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in landscape construction.
• Proven experience supervising and leading crews
• Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials, and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Physical ability to perform landscaping work and lift 50+ lbs. regularly
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 30-hour certification
• Experience with hardscape, irrigation, turf, or site development
• Proficiency with construction equipment (loader, excavator, skid steer, etc.)
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Experience with construction scheduling software
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Landscape industry certifications

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
