Landscape Foreman

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead our outdoor maintenance and landscaping teams. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and supervision of landscape projects, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations. Your leadership will drive team productivity, uphold safety standards, and maintain the aesthetic and functional integrity of outdoor spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse landscaping tasks while fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.

Hours are flexible however typically work weeks consist of 40 hours with plenty of opportunity for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance, lawn care, and gardening activities to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional quality.
• Lead hardscaping construction projects, including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features.
• Manage irrigation systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance to promote healthy plant growth and water efficiency.
• Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and landscape design adherence.
• Operate groundskeeping equipment and landscaping machinery safely and effectively across multiple job sites.
• Oversee crew management by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, providing training, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain detailed records of project progress, equipment maintenance, and safety inspections to support operational efficiency.

Experience

• Proven supervising or team management experience within landscaping or grounds maintenance environments.
• Extensive outdoor work experience with a strong background in lawn care, horticulture, groundskeeping, and gardening practices.
• Skilled in landscape maintenance techniques including pruning, planting, fertilizing, and pest control.
• Construction experience with hardscaping projects such as paving, stonework, fencing or retaining walls is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of irrigation management systems along with the ability to troubleshoot common issues.
• Familiarity with grounds maintenance equipment operation including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high safety standards.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
