Job Description

EBS Development Inc. is seeking a Landscaping Laborer to support both landscape construction and ongoing maintenance operations. This hands-on field position will assist with installing new landscaping throughout residential development projects and maintaining completed landscapes to ensure they remain healthy, functional, and well-kept.

The Landscaping Laborer will work under the direction of the Landscaping Superintendent and assist with planting, irrigation, landscape materials, equipment operation, and routine maintenance. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of professional landscaping experience, is dependable, works well as part of a crew, and is comfortable performing physical outdoor work throughout the Boise and Treasure Valley area.

Experience

• 1–3 years of professional landscaping experience, including landscape installation and/or maintenance.
• Experience installing sod, seed, trees, shrubs, planting beds, rock, mulch, edging, and other landscape materials.
• Basic experience with irrigation installation, adjustment, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Experience performing landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, plant care, irrigation adjustments, cleanup, and general property upkeep.
• Experience safely using mowers, trimmers, blowers, hand tools, power tools, and other landscaping equipment.
• Experience working effectively as part of a professional landscaping crew.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of landscape construction, installation, and maintenance practices.
• Ability to identify common trees, shrubs, grasses, and landscape plants and follow proper planting and care practices.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to safely operate, inspect, and care for landscaping tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform physical field work including lifting, digging, planting, carrying materials, and working on uneven terrain.
• Strong understanding of basic jobsite and equipment safety requirements.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow direction while taking initiative to complete assigned work efficiently.
• Ability to work outdoors in Boise and Treasure Valley seasonal conditions, including summer heat and cold weather.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with the Landscaping Superintendent and other EBS field personnel.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
