Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves performing a variety of groundskeeping, landscaping, and maintenance tasks to ensure landscapes are healthy, vibrant, and visually appealing. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, utilizing your skills to support landscape projects, plant care, hardscape installation, and routine grounds maintenance. Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep grounds looking pristine.
• Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Support planting activities by identifying plants, preparing soil, planting new greenery, and caring for existing flora.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and performing basic repairs to ensure proper watering schedules.
• Perform hardscape work including the installation and upkeep of walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or winterizing landscapes when required.

Requirements

• Prior outdoor work experience or background in groundskeeping or landscaping is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
• Basic mechanical knowledge related to landscape maintenance equipment and power tools.
• Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management is a plus.
• Ability to operate landscaping machinery including mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools safely.
• Strong attention to safety protocol adherence during all tasks to ensure personal safety and that of team members.
• Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as needed.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices such as mowing, gardening techniques, tree trimming, and grounds maintenance is highly desirable.
