Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise landscaping crews to complete lawn care, planting, pruning, and grounds maintenance tasks efficiently and safely
• Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools with precision and care
• Manage hardscaping construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures from start to finish
• Oversee irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal water distribution across landscapes
• Identify various plants, shrubs, trees, and groundcover to inform proper care routines and landscape design adjustments
• Operate company vehicles responsibly for transporting crew members and equipment to job sites while adhering to safety protocols
• Supervise team members by assigning tasks, providing training on equipment use and safety procedures, and maintaining high standards of quality workmanship
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications
• Maintain detailed records of landscape maintenance activities, project progress, equipment usage, and inventory management

Requirements

• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening or groundskeeping with a strong knowledge of horticulture principles
• Demonstrated supervising or team management experience within outdoor or landscaping environments
• Ability to identify plants accurately and understand their specific care needs
• Skilled in operating grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, irrigation tools, and hardscape machinery
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely; CDL license is a plus but not required
• Experience with hardscaping construction projects including patios or retaining walls is preferred
• Strong outdoor work ethic with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting techniques
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards in all aspects of landscape work

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
