Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to oversee daily operations, manage assigned routes, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality landscape maintenance services.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing crew productivity, efficiency, and workmanship while maintaining company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Crew & Route Operations

• Coordinate daily crew activities, delegate responsibilities, and maintain productivity.
• Train and supervise crew members to ensure work meets company standards.
• Manage assigned maintenance routes, ensuring properties are serviced efficiently and on schedule.
• Oversee and participate in mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, mulching, planting, and general landscape maintenance.

Quality, Equipment & Safety

• Maintain high standards for workmanship, property appearance, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct final property inspections and identify maintenance concerns or enhancement opportunities.
• Ensure proper operation, care, and routine maintenance of commercial equipment, vehicles, and trailers.
• Enforce safe work practices and maintain clean, organized equipment and work areas.

Communication & Reporting

• Communicate effectively with management, crew members, and clients.
• Address field challenges and provide updates on route progress, equipment needs, and property concerns.
• Accurately complete and submit required daily checklists, reports, and forms through the company app.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional landscape maintenance experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience leading or supervising a landscape maintenance crew.
• Proven ability to manage maintenance routes, crew productivity, and quality standards.
• Proficiency operating commercial mowing and landscape maintenance equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, and general landscape maintenance practices.
• Effective organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience maintaining residential and commercial properties.
• Knowledge of horticulture, plant identification, and proper pruning techniques.
• Experience training and developing crew members.
• Ability to identify landscape improvement and enhancement opportunities.
• Experience safely operating and transporting commercial equipment and trailers.
