Landscape Maintenance Foreman

Location: Millerton, NY & Wassaic, NY

Job Type: Full-Time, Year-Round

Pay: $24-28.00 per hour (plus overtime pay) based on experience

Northwest Lawn & Landscape is a trusted provider of high-quality landscape maintenance services in Millerton, NY and surrounding areas. We’re growing and looking for a motivated, dependable Landscape Maintenance Foreman to lead a crew of 3–4 team members.

The Landscape Maintenance Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily crew operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to lead by example. Experience operating excavators and skid steers is a plus but not required.

What You Will Do

• Lead and supervise a landscape maintenance crew on a daily basis
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
• Maintain an organized schedule and keep projects on track
• Train, mentor, and support crew members
• Operate landscaping equipment as needed
• Perform site inspections to ensure quality and consistency
• Identify and solve on-site challenges
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Oversees safe and effective use of all equipment including maintenance
• Ensure all crew members follow safety protocols

What You Need

• A valid driver’s license (required)
• Ability to communicate with customers
• Proven experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance
• Strong work ethic and reliability (show up on time & set example)
• Ability to work outside in different weather
• Previous foreman or leadership experience
• Ability to lead by example & keep your crew motivated and on task
• Attention to detail, problem solving and strong communication skills
• Respect of client property
