Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Maintenance Foreman to lead our outdoor groundskeeping and landscaping teams. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance crews to ensure timely completion of lawn care, planting, pruning, and groundskeeping tasks
• Oversee hardscaping construction projects, including installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features
• Manage irrigation systems, including installation, repairs, and seasonal adjustments to promote healthy landscapes
• Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and company vehicles
• Identify plants and horticultural elements to maintain healthy landscapes and provide guidance on plant health and care
• Lead team management efforts by assigning daily tasks, monitoring performance, providing training, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols
• Conduct site inspections to assess landscape conditions, troubleshoot issues, and implement maintenance plans for outdoor spaces

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening or groundskeeping with a strong knowledge of horticulture practices
• Supervising or team management experience in outdoor or landscaping environments
• Skilled in plant identification and landscape troubleshooting techniques
• Hands-on experience with hardscaping construction projects and irrigation management
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively; experience with company vehicle operation is preferred
• Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate teams and coordinate tasks efficiently
• Knowledge of grounds maintenance standards and safety regulations for outdoor work environments
• Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions for extended periods
